Alfonso Roqueñí began his legal career in 1992 working in the real estate sector with various developers, managing projects involving shopping centers, office buildings, and tourism related assets. At that time, real estate law was not yet a formal legal specialty in Mexic , and our firm became a pioneer in establishing this practice as a structured legal discipline.
We are authorized agents of one of the leading title insurance companies in Mexico, actively conducting property title investigations and providing the legal foundations needed for insurers to make certainty based decisions.
We played a key role in one of the most significant periods of retail expansion in Mexico, advising oura client that now operates more than 2,500 points of sale nationwide.
We advised one of the world’s largest banks during its branch and ATM expansion throughout Mexico, executing more than 2,000 contracts as part of this process.
We have collaborated with multiple investment funds in the acquisition of Class A industrial facilities located along Mexico’s primary logistics and manufacturing.
Our participation has supported the establishment of major distribution centers, including those for the largest electronics company in the United States, and for a prominent Argentinian multinational corporation.

Roqueñí Abogados was founded with the vision of creating a boutique law firm specializing in real estate, corporate, and business.
Offering a level of technical rigor, service quality, and professional ethics not commonly found among traditional boutique firms.
From the beginning and to this day, we have advised one of the largest self-service chains in the world, supporting its growth and providing legal counsel on the real estate management of its leasing and purchase sale agreements.
During our first decade (2006-2015), we witnessed one of the most significant retail expansion periods in Mexico.Throughout this time, we advised our client in the opening of more than 2,500 points of sale nationwide.
From 2012 to 2015, we formed a strategic alliance with a stock market-–financial law firm, participating in the launch of Mexico’s first REITs, including our active involvement in the creation of FIBRA SHOP and FIBRA INN from the real estate perspective.
Since 2015, our path as Roqueñí Abogados has continued with the consolidation of our practice as a corporate and real estate boutique law firm.
